Ms.
Heinz is the Chairman of the Heinz Endowments and the Heinz Family Philanthropies.
She is a member of the Trustees Council at the National Gallery of Art
and in 2001 was elected to be a fellow of the American Academy of Arts
& Sciences. She founded and serves as vice chairman of the Heinz Center
for Science, Economics and the Environment and also serves on the board
of trustees at the Brookings Institute and Carnegie Mellon University.
